Anything that involves dressing up and eating breakfast foods is very dear to my heart, so it’s no surprise that brunch is my favorite weekend activity. There are too many places in Dallas that I haven’t visited yet so I have made it my mission to go to as many different brunches as possible during my senior year.
Recently I went to The Grape, which earned an award in 2009 for best burger in Dallas, making my decision between breakfast and lunch incredibly difficult. After starting with cinnamon pull-a-parts and a Wounded Yellow Bird, a drink I will go back for, I ended up ordering the fried chicken biscuit and only sampling a bite of the famous burger.
The food and drinks were delicious plus I got a chance to wear one of my favorite necklaces, which has an arrowhead on it that I found on a family friend’s plantation when I was younger.
