Since I’m back in Charleston after a long summer in NYC, I woke up this morning craving Callie’s biscuits, a lowcountry staple. I was very excited to learn that Callie’s daughter Carrie has just opened a biscuit shop on King Street. I made a bee-line for the shop, Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit, which is just too cute. This morning, Carrie was front and center, serving up cinnamon biscuits and more!
Each day HLB has a special biscuit, today it was a Charleston-style BLT!
After eating as many biscuits as I could, it was time for a walk around town. One of my favorite streets in Charleston is Legare Street. It’s usually fairly shady and quiet, with beautiful houses and ironwork lining the streets.
